Rick A. Conrad
Rick Andrew Conrad, 54, entered into his rest with the Lord
at Geisinger Hospital in Danville, PA on May 1st, 2021.

Born July 9, 1966 in Clearfield, PA, Rick was the son of the
late Kenneth Conrad and Irene Conrad, who survives.
Also surviving Rick are his six siblings, Marty Conrad,
Jolene Phillips, Marsha Jones, Keith Conrad, Roger Conrad,
and Lynette Conrad. He is also survived by many beloved
nieces and nephews.

Rick graduated from Punxsutawney High School in 1984
and went to college in Mechanicsburg, PA. After graduating
from Messiah College in 1988, Rick entered pastoral ministry, graduating from Eastern Baptist Seminary in 1990 to serve as a pastor—the position in which he served faithfully until the day of his passing. Rick had a love for traveling, from India to Scotland, Israel to Belize; his penchant for making friends included those from any and every culture and background.

Rick loved to tell stories, exercise his intellectual acuity, play board games, and card games. He frequently spent his time golfing, hiking, and doing puzzles, and enjoyed using his general adroitness to make every moment a teaching moment for others, especially his three children. Surviving him is his eldest child, Abigail (Jim) Conrad, his two grandchildren, Gavin and Lucy, and his youngest child, Ben (Katie) Conrad. Rick was predeceased by his middle child, Grant Conrad.

Rick served the Lord with a great passion, constantly building up and equipping others for compassionate service. There was rarely a conversation with Rick that did not involve him highlighting a “God moment” or some expression of rejoicing in the Lord. His gift for preaching has reached thousands across the globe, leaving behind a celebrated legacy that continues to serve God and His Kingdom.

An open memorial service will be held for Rick at Berkey Church of the Brethren in Windber, PA on May 16th, 2021 at 4:00PM.
